This CD was recorded in one week in
march 1991 in 'After The Silence'
studio of Christian Maertens.. It comprises purely acoustic
tracks and tracks which are being arranged with modern
means : computer, synthesisers, samplers, etc.
It
is however a coherent collection as the use of modern
technique is complementary to the acoustic base, as is
illustrated by the choice of sounds : : flutes, likembe
(thumb-piano), ethnic percussions, etc..
One
of the songs, 'Tshanga' is featured in
a compilation of the American label Putumayo (The Best
of World Music : African) see
